Referral (refer-a-friend) apps

ReferralCandy has run customer referral programs for years and adds an affiliate layer. Social Snowball is known for fast checkout enrollment and anti-leak "Safelinks." BixGrow is a value-priced, 2-in-1 affiliate + referral app. This category shines when your main goal is turning existing buyers into referrers with automated rewards like store credit or coupons.

Creator storefront tools

Loyalty suites with referrals

Smile.io and Yotpo are loyalty-first (points, VIP tiers, reviews) with referral features attached. Good if loyalty is your primary motion and referrals are a bonus.
